To most people, getting started online is a very daunting task.
Constantly battered by the next "great" adventure or program can take its toll
on even the most dedicated of individuals. Programs that promise over-night
success seldom deliver to those starting out and you are left "feeding" those at
the top who have their "dues" paid. Most of the people at the top are marketers
who have been online for a few to several years. Many struggled for years before
finding the success they currently enjoy and are happy to share how they finally
did it.
This is not to say you cannot succeed, it just means that "information overload" can cause anyone to decide that the "winner" they found may not be what they thought and have them jumping to the next program hoping to get involved before the masses. Moving from program to program will only frustrate you and have you doubting it is possible to earn a living online. Been there, Done that!
What I have found is that to be successful, you must commit yourself to whatever you are involved in for at least six (6) months. Do your research and make sure you are dealing with a legitimate company, with a responsible admin, who is actually paying as promised. Once you make that commitment, stick to it! No matter how great another program may sound, stick to your plan and concentrate on getting traffic to the one you have committed to. If, after six months you are not succeeding, analyze why and then if you decide to leave, go with a clear conscious knowing you did the best you could to make it work. By the way, IF that other program was as good as they claimed, it will still be around and you will know if it is working for others and worth your time and effort.
Many programs have their own marketing strategies available to you. Attempt to preview those and see if they are doable by you before you commit. Some are geared to the more experienced marketer and will leave your head spinning trying to figure them out, while others employ strategies that just don't work any more. Make sure you are comfortable with the marketing plan, that you can accomplish what is expected of you and you will be able to explain it to your members. After all, if they don't succeed, how can YOU expect to?
Earning a living online is Not the impossible task it sometimes appears to be. Occasionally we have to take a couple steps back in order to move forward. Spending money and effort on programs that are not earning for you ( but sounded great because of your placement ) that you have no time or ability to work or promote, just don't make sense. Dump them. Pick the one ( 1 ) you CAN commit to, follow their plan, and Work it! ( By the way, if a program you are in does not cost you anything but can ultimately help your primary program, then by all means keep it and use it when you can! ) You should see that by funneling all your effort to your primary focus, you too can achieve the results you are seeking...
